This is the debut beat tape release from Baton Rouge beatsmith PRIME8 PIMPIN. One can assume given the artwork and title that this project has an asian cinema theme... The assumption is correct as Sellswords & Courtesans laced wih samples that one would hear from a Wu-Tang record. Prime8 Makes the samples his own by incorporating wavy synths interesting sounds, and "crunchy" Drum samples that complements each loop. Also featured on this project are artists Darby Capital and Samson Bodega from Patchwork Villain. If you dig 94 era grimey hip hop with a twist, make sure you cop this release!!
